5 Minutes of Prayer

All those who attend Lombard Nazarene are encouraged to pray 5 minutes daily for our church.  Please join us as we seek God's direction.

Women's Book Club

The January book club has been cancelled. For February’s book club, we are reading Salvation on Sand Mountain: Snake Handling and Redemption in Southern Appalachia by Dennis Covington. Our book club meeting will be on February 21st at the home of Pam Miller (105 S. Wisconsin, Villa Park) at 7:00 pm. All ladies are welcome for dessert and discussion!

Sanctuary Choir

The sanctuary choir will resume on January 8th with practices being on Sundays at 4:30 pm in the sanctuary.  Everyone is welcome to sing in the choir.  Questions?  Contact Gary Reynolds.

Women's Ministry Opportunities

Family Scrapbook night (meets monthly) at the Darby home (443 W. Pleasant Lane, Lombard) will begin on Friday, September 24th at 7:30 pm.  Also, there will be weekly Bible Study/Card Making Meetings, which will begin Monday, September 20th.  Please contact Deb Darby at 630.607.9064 with questions and to RSVP.

Volunteers Needed!

Anyone interested in helping out with Wednesday Night Family Dinners (ie shopping, cooking, cleaning up), please see Pastor Bimber.

Aluminum Cans

If you have Aluminum cans to be recycled, bring them to the church in a plastic bag and put them under the stairwell at the South end of the building. Dave and Sheila Bergmann take them to be recycled and the money received goes towards our NYI program. This is an on-going program.
